2013 has been a busy year for Sarah so far. Along with outings racing in the VW FunCup, she has also continued her role as chief instructor for BookaTrack.

Sarah has already been to Portimão, Estoril and Spa this year, along with a long list of dates throughout the UK with the Staffordshire-based trackday organiser. The rest of the years’ schedule is set to include events at more of Europe’s most notable circuits including Zandvoort, Nürburgring Nordschleife, Mugello and Monza.

The Caterham Drive Experience have continued to work with Sarah on their regular days and she has also been assisting this years’ Caterham Academy drivers.

Other manufactures that have taken advantage of Sarah’s knowledge and experience include Jaguar, who gave her the opportunity to sample the new Jaguar F-Type at Silverstone last month.

In April, the opening round of the FunCup saw Sarah team up with Speedworks team owner, Christian Dick, and John Gilbert with an entry in the latter’s Global Racing outfit at Oulton Park.

The 4-hour endurance saw the trio running as high as P2 before a late safety car period caught them out and they eventually had to settle for 9th position. However, the result was Gilbert’s highest finish in the series to date, so there are positives to be taken and built upon as Sarah gears up for her next outing with the team on 8th June at Snetterton 300.

In addition to her coaching and racing activities, Sarah has now become the Motorsport agent for ACS (Advanced Communication Solutions) in Banbury, promoting and selling their custom moulded hearing protection and communication headsets.

ACS already have an outstanding reputation in the music industry and over 10 years’ experience in motorsport.

2013 has been a successful year so far for Sarah and the ACS brand – they were promoting their products with a place on the Nicky Grist Motorsport stands at the Autosport International Show in January.

The brand is growing and rapidly becoming more recognised, with customers using their products from Club racing all the way through to Formula 1 and WEC/AMLS.
